About Mary Dell Caffey:
Mary Dell Caffey's name is spelled this way in the family Bible and on the birth certificate however,
she spelled her name as Mary Delle as a little girl in the early grades at Sidney School. She was a
seven month baby. She was so small the doctor gave her no chance of living. She was said to weigh but
two and one half pounds with her clothes on.
