About Selma Evelyn Eiland:

Selma E. Sharon, age 75, of Bruce, Fla., died Wednesday, March 8, 2000, in a local hospital. Mrs. Sharon was born on Nov. 19, 1924, in Pasco County, Fla., the daughter of John and Grace Eiland. She was a resident of Bruce for the past 13 years, moving from Fort Walton Beach, Fla., where she was a founder of Fort Walton Beach Paint and Body. She was Methodist by faith and a member of First United Methodist Church of Bruce.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Bud Eiland and George Eiland. Mrs. Sharon is survived by her husband of 53 years, J.D. Sharon of Bruce; sons, Elliott A. Sharon and wife Ann of Bonifay, Fla., Frank E. Sharon of Niceville, Fla., Jeff D. Sharon and wife Debbie of Crestview, Fla., and Bud Sharon and significant other Marcia Destin of Choctaw Beach, Fla.; brother, Bob Eiland of Okeechobee, Fla.; sisters, Lillian Ullrich of San Antonio, Tx, and Kathleen Singleton of Pensacola, Fla.; and 11 grandchildren. Burial in Dead River Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Travis Sharon, Colton Sharon, Elliott Sharon Jr., J.D. Sharon III, Josh Sharon, Jordan Sharon, Joel Sharon, Troy Sharon, Justin Sharon and Ricky Sharon.
