About Clara P Beard:

FULLICK, Clara Beard of Thorndale. Age 86. Died 7/14/1979 in Sinton following a short illness. Funeral & Burial information not listed in article. She was BORN 3/5/1893 and a devoted leader in church and community activities during her 52 yrs. of residence in Sinton. Served in many capacities in the First United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Board of Stewards and of the church choir. Charter member of Sinton Garden Club, Women's Study and Library Club and Priscilla Sewing Club. In 1962 she received the Sinton Chamber of Commerce "Woman of the Year" award. She did volunteer Red Cross work during WW-2 and was chairman of a 3-county area group of volunteers. Preceded in death by husband in 1952. SURVIVORS: Daughter & son, Mrs. Dale Satterwhite & Edwin Fullick, both of Sinton; brother & 3 sisters, R.M. Beard, Mrs. Cordye Conoley and Mrs. Gladys Ralston, all of Thorndale and Mrs. Berniece Wilder of Kermit. SS Death Benefit on #458-64-6998.
