About William Smith (Willie) Eiland:
Nevada State Journal, 1946 Willie S. Eiland, emplyed at the Reno postoffice for the past ten years,
died yesterday morning at a local hospital, after being in failing health for the past year. Fifty-two
years old, he was a natiive of Texas, a veteran of World War I, and a former resident of Loyalton, Ca.
He was a member of the Odd Fellows order.
Surviving are a daughter, Mary Kathleen Eiland of
Loyalton, his mother, Mrs. E. E. Eiland of El Paso, Tex, and five sisters and brothers, Kathleen Eiland
of El Paso, Lorena Eiland of Snyder, Tx, Lowry Eiland of Tucson, Ariz, Troy Eiland of Midland, Tex,
and Roby J Eiland of Socorro, NW.
