LIVINGSTON,
May 28 - Rev. Enoch Eiland, 63, pastor of the Livingston Methodist Church for the past two years, died
yesterday in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Nova L. Powell of Madera.
Funeral services will be
held in the Madera Funeral Home at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Rev. George O. Harwell of Modesto,
Rev. Edward M. Conn of Madera and Rev. F. M. Cheek of Parlier will be in charge of services. Interment
will be in the family plot in the Arbor Vita Cemetery in Madera.
Besides Mrs. Powell, he leaves
a widow, Lula B. Eiland; a son, Hollis L. Eiland of Chowchilla; a daughter, Florence L. Murdock of Madera
and the following brothers and sisters: A. B. Eiland of Springfield, Edward Eiland, Mrs. Cora Jackson
and Mrs. Sally Harding, all of Texas. He also leaves two grandchildren.
