About Mattie Will Wyatt:

(WADLEY) Services for Mattie Will Eiland, 89, of Wadley will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2000, at Macedonia Baptist Church, Wadley, with the Revs. Johnny Bishop and Zenus Windsor officating. Burial will follow at Forrester's Chapel Cemetery. Mrs. Eiland died Monday, Dec. 4, at Randolph Medical Center in Roanoke.

She was born in Randolph County on Nov. 27, 1911, daughter of John Wyatt and Fannie Ella Hadley Heflin. She was a self-employed store owner and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Buck Eiland. Survivors include a daughter, Mary Sue Belyeu of Opelika; a son, Albert Eiland of Wadley; two sisters, Hilma Heflin Belek of Columbus, Ohio, and Sue Heflin Denman of Titusville, Fla.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
