About Donnea Lea Nelson:

Donnea Lea Nelson Caffey, 69, of Abilene, died Thursday at a local hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 542 Hickory, with the Rev. Rickie Rister officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Caffey was born in Abilene and lived here all of her life. She was a 1947 graduate of Abilene High and married H.D. Caffey Sr. in 1950. She worked for Timex for 13 years and Tx Instruments for five years.

Survivors include her husband, H.D. Caffey Sr.; a son, H.D. Caffey Jr. of Abilene; a daughter, Diane Mornic of Alto Loma, Calif.; two step-daughters, Ann Young of Haskell and Linda Folsom of Abilene; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Lone Star
