About Carl Samuel Krueger:

Born in Ratzebuhr, Kreis Neustettin, Hinter-Pommern, Germany. Baptized Carl Samuel in the Evangelische Kirche Ratzebuhr on December 26, 1858. Sponsors were Samuel Bahr, W. Rehbein and Johanna Rehbein geb.. ? Came to US in 1887 at age 29 (per 1900 census).

Received military service deferrment due to occupation as shoemaker. Emmigrated to US in 1887. Entered US at Ellis Island. Naturalized 14 Aug 1894, at Lebanon, Laclede Co, Mo Original certificate on file. Death Certificate lists place of birth as 'Ratesborough', Germany, however, it was actually Ratzebuhr. Buried in Mt. Emblem cemetery, Addison Township, Cook Co, IL.

Recorded in Judge Anderson McFall's Journal: "Doll Kreger wife of Carl Kreger returned back to Phillipsburg Mo from the East March 10 1900. (Note: should be Krueger, not Kreger)
