If you are in any way connected with or researching the surname Easton, (Easten, Eastin, Eston, Eastom)
you are welcome here. There are no rules, other than what the listserver imposes*. Just use discretion
and don't stray too far from the subject of the Easton Family and genealogy. There's no one here but
Easton descendants and every piece of information is important somewhere in the puzzle.
*Rootsweb listservers will accept ONLY messages in plain text format. If you send mail in html format, it will be rejected by the server. If you send an attachment that is not plain text, it will be rejected. In either case, it will be sent back to you with instructions how to set your email program to send plain text. and include only the single word SUBSCRIBE in the body of the message. To UNSUBSCRIBE from the List, send an E-mail to: [email protected] and this time include only the single word UNSUBSCRIBE in the body of the message. To do the same, but with the DIGEST version, replace Easton-L-request in the commands above with Easton-D-request. To SEND or POST to the list, send an email to: [email protected]. Notice that this address is different from the subscribing address. The important part is POSTING. When you post an email, everyone who is subscribed gets a copy at the same time. If your note is strictly personal, it may be better to send it as personal E-mail, but if it has anything to do with the Eastons, let's share it. |
