He He and his family were emigrating from
Newfoundland, bound for Prince Edward Island, when they were shipwrecked near
Point Michaud & Grand River, Richmond County Nova Scotia. Deciding it was
fate, he applied for and was granted land at, or near, the point of shipwreck.
