Dedicated to the DOVER list members, and the list owner, Patricia Manson. They
are the most concerned, caring, enthusiastic and helpful of any list group
to which I have worked. Thank you for providing such a tool for those who want
to also acknowledge the histories of their families.

I have been extremely happy with the rewards I have gained since I joined RootsWeb,
which is why I decided to make the donation. One lady in Canada has helped
me get one branch of the family back to 1600. All the necessary records are
held about ten miles away, yet I got the information from 3,000 miles away
across the ocean. Since posting my original message to RootsWeb, I have discovered
distant family relatives in Toronto, Pennsylvania, Texas and Australia as well
as family members (confirmed and hopefuls) scattered here across the UK. All
the members I have contacted have been very helpful and on the other hand,
because I live so near to my roots I have been able to provide other inquirers
with details of their ancestors. It's all been a lot of fun and a great time
saver.

In thanks to RootsWeb for making space available for the county and state sites
of the USGenWeb Project for free and for making space available for my home
page so that I can, in a small way, repay all the wonderful people who helped
me when I was a "newbie" at research.
