New Zealand

From Isle of Man to New Zealand about 1880:

I reside in New Zealand and would like to hear from any descendants of ELEANOR KELLY (OR KELLEY) (nee Mylroie) who emigrated to Lancashire with her children from the Isle-of-Man around 1879 on the death of her husband (ROBERT) in a mining accident in LAXEY in 1875.   In 1881 she was resident with her son JAMES KELLY (b. 1863) (plumbers apprentice) at 3 Berkeley Street, Burnley.   Her eldest son, JOHN JAMES KELLY (b. 1849) had emigrated earlier and in 1881 resided at 45 Brunswick Terrace, Haslingden and later is known to have resided at 23 Beaconsfield Street, Haslingden, and in 1916 was connected with the Haslingden Guardian. The other children were:  WILLIAM ARTHUR (1852) (joiner), THOMAS (1854), ROBERT (1856), EDWARD (1858) (a joiner), and ELEANOR ANN (1860).   ELEANOR KELLY senior already had a sister (ANNE (1843-1923), wife of Richard Smith) living in the Haslingden area.
I would very much like to hear from anyone researching any member of this family.
