Subject: Aldersons-1900 Census for AR


 Connie sent a message that she had found Malinda Alderson buried, who
 died in 1934,  in Friendship Cemetery in Springdale, AR.

 I attempted to find Malinda in the 1900 Arkansas Census, without
 success.  I did not read ALL of these only the ones I thought might be
 helpful.  I made notes for the ones I felt most possible.  My eyes need
 a break.  I'll check the 1910 and 1920 indexes after I take a break.

 I do have a person I believe to be Hiram's widow,  Malinda Kelly (the
 spelling on the census was different), in the 1870 census.  The wife and
 mother-in-law were both Malinda's and the birth places matched those for
 our Malinda's.  I have not found the family after 1870.  They are on my
 search list.

  This Malinda Alderson age 60 , a widow,  born in Kentuck Jan 1840.  Her
  parents born in Kentucky. The family included daughter, Hettie C, age 29 born Mar  1871 in
  Arkansas; son, Armstead, age 26, born in Arkansas May 1874; grandson Charley  age 13 born in Arkansas  Mar 1887; grandson,  and Joseph ?F? age 5 born  Mar 1885.
 
  The father of Hettie and Armsted were born in Tennessee.

  The text on this page is very light but readable.  Lab (I would guess

  had been married 16 years.  Their  16 year old son, Burr,  was born Nov
