Beebe Photos

Best I can remember this is Hillcrest Park in Fullerton, CA.....about 1939.....I was five years old when this photo was taken with an old Kodak box camera. Don't ask me how I remember all of that. From time to time new memories crop up and I will write them down before I forget them again.

Ggrandpa Cornelius Alvero Beebe and Mary Elizabeth Williamson Beebe.

Ggrandpa Beebe died in Hindsville, AR 1920 so I never knew him.

Ggrandma Beebe visited us in 1938 and stayed on the ranch with us for several weeks.

This photo was taken near Hindsville, AR before 1920.

Great grandma Beebe as I remember her when I was three or four years old.

She visited us on McNally ranch at La Mirada, CA.

About 1946 we heard she had died of pneumonia in Texas.

She said she was born 1864 near Des Moines, IA.

Before 1885 she married a Beebe also from Iowa.

They had five children shown in the last photo.

We lived on McNally ranch at LaMirada near the town of Buena Park.

Left to right: Rosie who died young of pneumonia, Great grandpa Cornelius Alvero Beebe, Milton Beebe oldest son (behind) born in Shelby County Iowa. Other children were born in Belton, MO: Great Aunt Perlene who married a Harrison in TX, Great grandma Mary Elizabeth Williamson Beebe with baby Leonard, My grandma Floy Beebe who married Henry Pruitt in Gainesville, TX about 1907. Perlene probably married in Gainesville also. That family moved north to Canyon, TX where their children were raised.
