DELBRIDGE

This is my primary surname of interest. My branch of the family lived in Cubert, Illogan, and St. Ive parishes before migrating to the USA in 1863. I would like to prove a connection to families of the same name in the parish of St. Agnes in the mid 1700's. Other surnames that married into my Delbridge family include CAMPS,  CARTER,  COLWILL, CUNDAY, ELLIS, EVA, HARRY, HINKSON, HOSKING,  KELLOW, PRYNN, ROWE,  SANDOW, TRERISE, and VIVIAN. Other parishes that the married children lived in include Tywardreath, Liskeard, Kenwyn, Padstow, Feock, Gwinear, and Camborne.  Some members of this family also migrated to Australia.

NICHOLAS
Henry Nicholas was born in 1780 in Gwennap and died in July 1838 in the parish of Chacewater. His wife was Jane _____, who was born abt 1782 and died 2 May 1849 in Chacewater. They had sons Henry, Abel, and John, and daughters Ann (m. John JAMES), Johanna (m. William SANDOW), and Jane (m. John DELBRIDGE).

My grandfather's LEBLANC family from Wedgeport, Yarmouth Co, Nova Scotia, can be traced through many generations of Acadian families in Wedgeport, Pubnico, St. Anne-du-Ruisseau, Church Point, Grand Pré, and Port Royal. They were also exiled for a few years in Boston, MA. Other surnames include BOURQUE, POTHIER, D 'ENTREMONT, BABIN, AMIRAULT,  SURETTE,  BELLIVEAU, and many others.
I am most interested in learning more about Marie COMEAU, daughter of Jean, who was born, say, 1803 in the Clare area of Nova Scotia and married abt 1824 to Hippolyte (Polycarpe) SURETTE. They lived on Surette Island in the Argyle area. I have been unable to identify her father, Jean COMEAU or connect him to the other COMEAU's of Clare.
