When completed, it will contain information about the mass migration from County Norfolk, England to Orleans County in the late 1840s and early 1850s. This influx was the first of many waves of newcomers that have washed across our County, and was particularly concentrated in the western part of the county (Ridgeway, Medina, Shelby, and Yates).
