An AP photographer came to camp wanting to go up on an airdrop over Ben Het. I did not want to take the time with him and sent him up with John Shaw. The picture in the lower portion is one of the original shots. On my arrival home June 27th I picked up the paper the next afternoon and here is John pulling in static lines. The photo went national.
