  • The Ancestors of Bruce and Barbara Fosnocht To quote Bruce's homepage: I have established a direct line of ancestry to Johannes Fasnacht, who entered the US in Philadelphia in 1750. He settled in Lancaster County, PA at New Holland. He had a son, John Conrad Fosnocht, from whom I am descended. His first wife, Anna Koenigunda Heinser, died soon after and Johannes married again, to Juliana Margareta Adam. They had nine more children.I am interested in tracing the children of this second marriage and all descendants. There were two other Fasnachts who came over in 1749 and settled in Ephrata. One was Johan Adam Fassnacht. The other was a Johan Conrad Fassnacht, and his wife was Elizabeth Kolb. I am interested in sorting out these families and their descendants, to separate them from my family. It is also probable that both are related if the family link to Germany can be established. These are my interests, and I would share information with all who might be interested in exchange for their own information.
  • Some American Mutts (Johannes Fasnacht  1727 - 1807   PA, OH, IN, IL) This link will take you to my mother's section of my family, and links to info on her Fasnacht ancestors.  On this page you will find a bulleted description of My father's earliest Fasnacht ancestors as well as a link that will take you thru six generations of Fasnacht descendants.  Bruce (previous) is my genealogy cousin, though we diverged SEVERAL generations back.  Still,  I will let his very apt description of our family speak for us both.

Email  me if you need more information.
