        Point Lookout MD on Jun 11 1864, transfersd to Elmira NY Jul 9 1864,
        injured during the transfer in train wreck in PA Jul 16 1864. Took
        Oath of Allegiance to the Union in the POW camp at Elmira on Jun 6
        23 1865, released to find his way back to VA
