| The Last will & testament of Henery Dow Senr of Hampton Beinge Sick & weeke of Body butt firme of understanding and memory Itt I Give and bequeth unto Margrett my loving wife my House lott being by Estamation ten Acres more or less & Six acres of fresh meddow att the springs & one sheare of the lower Cowes Comon ; Three of my Cowes : & the Dwelling House upon the lott above sd : and att my Househould stuff Excepting whatt shall be other waies Disposed of Itt I Give and bequeath unto my sonn Henry Dow all the planting Ground thatt is in my Hands in the East field, and my seaventeen acres of Salt marsh and . . . one sheare of the Cow comon and a sheare of the ox Comon and all my Cattell Excepting the three Cowes above Itt to my Sonn Henery, one fether bed wch Hee useth to ly upon and all the Bed Cloathes thereunto Belonging and the middelmost Iron Pott : and I Due by these presents make and appoint my sonn Henery my sole Exequetor to this last will and testamentt Itt I Doe Give and Bequeath unto my sonn Joseph the some of thirty pounds to bee payd when Hee shall Arive to the age of twenty and one yeers. Wife Jone, bur 20 (4) 1640. Rem to Hampton; juryman 1648; sold land 18 (3) 1649; deputy 1655. Gave land 3 (8) 1649 to Thomas Nudd, sone of his former wife by her first husband. He m. about 1642 Margaret Cole, q.v. Ch. Henry (deposed in 1669, ae about 35). Thomas d at Wat.bur. July 10 1641, Joseph b 20 (1) 1638; Daniel b 22(7) 1641; Mary b. 14 (7) 1643; Thomas b at Hampton April 28, 1653; Jeremiah b. Sept. 6 1657 and Hannah.
He d. 21(2) 1659. Will dated 16 (2) prob 4(8)1659, beq to wide Margaret, sones Henry, Jospeh, Danile, Thomas, Jeremiah, daus Mary and Hannah. Hannah m. Jonas Gregory of Ipswich.
The widow m. Oct 23, 1661 Richard Kimball of Ipswich.10
