On Sunday last Mr C Jacobs, of Sydney to Elizabeth daughter of Mr Joshua, Hindley St. This is the first Jewish marriage celebrated in this colony. The ceremony was performed by B Nathan Esq. acting under authority from Sydney. Upwards of 60 ladies and gentlemen were present on this interesting occasion and the festivities were on a magnificent scale.
