My line is descended from LUCINDA OLIVER, dau of John & Mary "Polly" OLIVER shown below. The remainder of this outline is my interpretation of the Census data. June 1998

Any information on Sam PARNELL. He is buried in Darlington. His wife's name was Margaret. He had one son Wesley PARNELL, who is buried in Arlington National Cemetary. His four daughters were: Viola, Agnes, Corrine & Lyda. I have been told that his mother's name was Charlotte GREENWOOD. July 1998

James A. McEACHERN (1840-1874)lived Timmonsville, Darlington Co., wife's name Victoria HAM. James named wife, son [G.] Carson McEachern, G.M. McCown, and nephew James A. POWERS [b.1850] in his will. Estate record of John G. Powers, father of James A., was in 1869, with surety : E.B. Powers, A. D. Powers, Sarah Powers, and Louisa Morris. Would appreciate information on the Powers family and how they connect to James A. Powers. Will gladly share information.
