"5. Nicholas Bragg, son of Nicholas and Bethia (Howland) Bragg, was baptized at St. Michael's Church, Bristol, R. I., June 2, 1728. He married Sarah Greene, daughter of Benjamin and Anne (Hoxsie) Greene, by Friends' ceremony, at Greenwich, R. I., June 23, 1757. (Records of Greenwich monthly meeting of Friends; also family records, the original marriage certificate still in possession of the family.)
The Benjamin Greene referred to above was a brother of Nathaniel Greene, "the preacher," who was father of General Nathaniel Green of revolutionary fame.".
