"5. Nicholas Bragg, son of Nicholas and Bethia (Howland) Bragg, was baptized at St. Michael's Church, Bristol, R. I., June 2, 1728. He married Sarah Greene, daughter of Benjamin and Anne (Hoxsie) Greene, by Friends' ceremony, at Greenwich, R. I., June 23, 1757. The Benjamin Greene referred to above was a brother of Nathaniel Greene, "the preacher," who was father of General Nathaniel Green of revolutionary fame.".
