[15.] 4. JOHN, again, (48) b. in New Haven, Conn., in Aug 1671; came with his father to Wallingford, Conn., in 1672 there m. 1. Susanna Street, dau. of Rev. Samuel Street, the first minister of Wallingford, May 23, 1694, who d. April 21, 1704, aged 29; m. 2. Mary Bradley, July 21, 1706, who d. June 12, 1737, and m. 3. Martha Stent, May 24, 1738, who survived him and d. in Wallingford, May 25, 1771, aged 87. He was a deacon of the first Congregational church in Wallingford, and resided there until his death which occurred June 28, 1768, at the advanced age of nearly 97 years. Outliving all his children, he disposed of his property by Will to his grandchildren, the last codicil to which was made shortly before his decease1. Some of his descendants still reside in Wallingford upon the premises which were the homestead of his father more than two centuries ago.".
