"Page 556. Richard Rockett or Rockwood, mar. second, Agnes, widow of the first Zechary Bicknell of Weymouth. She died July 9, 1643. He died 1660. His son John removed to Medfield or Mendon, many descendants.".

Page 174. Zechary1 Bicknell 1635--died 1636; wife Agnes--who was perhaps daughter of Robert1 Lovell. She married second Richard Rockett or Rockwood of Braintree. She had a son John2 Rockwood, b. Dec. 1, 1641, ancestor of most of the Rockwoods in Massachusetts. Mrs. Rockwood died July 9, 1643. In the records of the General Court, March 9, 1636-7, I find the following: "William Reed having bought the house and twenty acres of land which was Zachary Bicknell's (after Bicknell's death) for £7--13s--4d of Richard Rockett and wife, is to have the sale confirmed by the child (John) when he cometh of age, or else the child to allow such costs as the Court shall think meet.".".

Samuel, Deacon Samuel), b. in Northfield, Mass., July 20, 1710, was delegate to Provincial Congress, and to Massachusetts General Court; was also chairman of the Committee of Vigilance and Correspondence in the trying years of the county, 1775 and 1776. I have from the Secretary of State of Massachusetts a certified copy of the record of service of Phineas Wright, in the Revolutionary War, as colonel of the Sixth Hampshire County Regiment of Militia. He d. 1795, aged 85 years; she d. 1797, aged 82 years. Their children, b. in Northfield, Mass., viz.: 1. Eliphaz, b. Aug. 8, 1738. 2. Catherine Wright, b. Aug. 17, 1740, d. 1803; m. Capt. Reuben Smith. 3. Joanna Wright, b. Aug. 30, 1742. 4. Tabitha Wright, b. Aug. 23, 1744; d. Sept. 23, 1822. 5. Naomi Wright, b. Oct. 30, 1746; m. Col. H. Wells, Greenfield, Mass. 6. Rhoda Wright, b.
