Sarah Clark

"She (Sarah Clark) is said to have been of the same family as General George Rogers Clark."
Although there is no record of General George Rogers Clark marrying, this and the following unpublished source suggest otherwise.

2Gwen Everman Littleton, 1907-2003, Everman Family History, 1972, Unpublished manuscript, Grayson, Ky.
""Sarah Clark was (said to be) a Niece of the explorer, William Clark, of the Lewis & Clark Expedition, and a direct descendant of General George Rogers Clark."

Copies of Gwen Littleton's handwritten notes were given to Nola Harris Bull by Gwen's niece, Nola's cousin, Anna Lee Elliott Davis, in 1992.
