"33. ANNA4 GLEASON (John.3 Thomas,2 Thomas1), b. May 3, 1713; m. Nov. 22, 1733, John, son of Caleb and Elizabeth (Eames) Drury. He settled in Natick and removed to Shrewsbury. He was admitted to the church in Shrewsbury from that in Natick in 1758. It is said that he had children:
i. JOHN5 DRURY, JR., whose wife was Martha Buckminster was from Framingham. Children:
(a) JOANNA6</sup<, b. July 9, 1760; m. May 2, 1782, Solomon Jones of Charlton. It is said that he was a Revolutionary officer, and that he removed to Franconia, N. H.
(b) CAROLINE, b. March 10, 1764.
(c) LAUSON, b. Feb. 7, 1770.
(d) MARTHA, bapt. April 4, 1773.
(e) BUCKMINSTER, b. Nov. 16, 1775.
(f) JOHN, b. Nov. 15, 1779.
ii. MARTHA DRURY. One of this name, and supposed to be his daughter, d. Oct. 23, 1775, ae. 27, in Shrewsbury; also one of the same name m. Reuben Goss of Westboro, Sept. 10, 1764. There may have been other children, all born before coming to Shrewsbury.
(Abigail, wife of John Drury, was admitted to the church here in 1772 from that in Concord. Author cannot reconcile).
William Drury (perhaps brother of John, Jr., m. Elizabeth Drury, 1768, both called of Sh.
William Drury m. Lucy Drury dau.(?) of Caleb and Sarah (Goodale) Drury, b. June 17, 1765; m. 1782. Had Ephraim, b. June 3, 1783, and Luke, Oct. 11, 1785; probably removed to Grafton.
Gershom Drury from Hollis, N. H., m. Sibbillah dau. of Daniel and Sarah (Flagg) Drury, b. April 17, 1736; m. 1760; had David, b. Nov. 7, 1763.".
