"4712. NATHANIEL WHEELER, son of Thomas (2704) and Joan (Bryan) Wheeler. Bapt. Feb. 20, 1642; died Oct. 4, 1726. Married Esther Botsford, the dau. of Henry Botsford. (The date of this marriage is given by the History of Exeter Co., N. J., as June 21, 1676.) He removed from Milford, Conn., to Newark, N. J., where he died and is buried in the Cemetery of the Mountain Society. He was Fence Viewer 1670, 1679, 1681; and Constable 1682.
