"(13) Nathaniel Ladd, of Haverhill, (son of Samuel,6) ma. Abigail Bodwell, dau. of Henry and Bethis (Emery) Bodwell, of Methuen. He removed to Norwich "West Frams," now Franklin, Conn., and from there to Coventry, Conn., where he died, June 11, 1757. His wife died Aug. 7, 1798. At Franklin he was of considerable prominence in civil and ecclesiastical affairs, having served as selectman in 1721, and having been chosen to important offices in the society.
