"(II) Henry (2), fourth son and eighth child of Henry (1) and Phebe (Richardson) Baldwin, was born in Woburn, September 15, 1664, and died there January 17, 1739. He was married May 4, 1692-3, to Abigail Fiske, daughter of David and Abigail (Seaborn) Fiske, who subsequently settled in Lexington, Massachusetts. Abigail Baldwin, who survived her husband, was the mother of Henry, David, Isaac, Abigail (who died young), James (who died young), Abigail, James and Samuel.".

"15. NATHAN4 BROOKS (John,3 John,2 Henry1), born Nov. 1, 1706, married first, Sarah, born Aug. 18, 1706, died Feb. 21, 1747-8, aged 40 y. 6m. 3d., daughter of Jonathan and Hannah (Fowle) Wyman. He married second, intention dated Mar. 18, 1749, Elizabeth, born Feb. 3, 1716, in Woburn, daughter of Jacob and Mary (Broughton) Fowle. He died Jan. 7, 1752, aged 45. Elizabeth Brooks, widow, was appointed guardian of Abigail, about five months old, in 1752. In 1761, Jacob Fowle, of Lancaster, appears to have been appointed guardian of Abigail Brooks. The will of Elizabeth Brooks, of Woburn, dated Dec. 17, 1760, gave to her only child, her daughter, Abigail Brooks, "her whole estate." when she arrived at the age of 21, or was married. Jacob Fowle, the brother of Elizabeth, was appointed administrator. He presented her will to the court on Oct. 6, 1761, which shows that she had died before that time.* For particulars regarding the guardianship of the children, see Middlesex County Probate Records, file 1852.

xii. SAMUEL, b. July 16, 1747; aged 5 years in 1752; in 1766, Paul Wyman was appointed his guardian. He m. Aug. 8, 1769, Martha, daughter of Zurishaddai and Abigail (Johnson) Pierce.

"(V) Oliver (2), eldest child of Oliver (1) and Mary (Ober) Kimball, was born in Salem, December 5, 1745, and died there April 20, 1821. He was a soldier in the revolutionary war, and served at Bunker Hill, August 1, 1775. Salem town meeting adjourned to August 22, at which time Oliver Kimball, Jr., was chosen ensign. October 16, 1775, he was in Captain Woodbury's company, and he was in the same company in 1776. He was selectman in Salem in 1793, where he resided all his life. His tombstone in Salem bears the following incription: "Death's sudden stroke dissolved my feeble frame, reader, prepare, your fate may be the same." He married Mary Allen, of Salem. She was born March 17, 1751, and died February 6, 1846, aged ninety-five. Their children were: Susannah, Molly (died young), Joseph and Molly.".
