"Mrs. Jerusha (Avery 10 ) Damon was born in Truro, but in infancy her parents removed to Provincetown, where she spent the earlier part of her life.
. . .
At the age of eighteen she united with the Center M. E. Church. Sept, 4, 1842, she was happily married to Mr. Franklin Damon."
