He m. 2d, Dec. 14, 1808, Irene Taylor, dau. of Phineas and Molly (Sherwood) Taylor, of Bethel. She was born Oct. 7, 1784, and died Mar. 14, 1868, aged 83 years, 5 months and 7 days. Philo Barnum died at Bethel, Sept. 7, 1826, aged 48 years, 6 months and 3 days. His grave-stone is in the old cemetery at Bethel.
