The folks listed here have volunteered to help you by investing their time to "look up" information for you in their own books.

Misc. Books

Keep it simple,
short, and sweet:
Do not ask for "everything you have on George Cutlip."
Ask for one specific
piece of information.

Misc. Books

First, check the
database.
Then, ask for help.
Why duplicate work?

#1 Lois Lambert ([email protected]) ... check out Lois's Library!

"I'll be glad to look up any other related names for anyone participating in this Cutlip Discussion Group."

#2 Sherri Brake-Recco ([email protected]) In Ohio

"This is my first posting to the Cutlip List. I am very familiar with Webster and Braxton County in WV.

"I can do some look ups and have several census books, Annals of Webster County, and several other genealogy books of localized interest."

#3 Rosamund A. Ball ([email protected])

"Am the double-great-great grandaughter of Susan Cutlip m. James Anderson Boggs...will be happy to assist anyone who wants info on this line."

#4 Debbie Brown ([email protected])

"I live in Columbus, Ohio. The Ohio Historical Society is not far away. If there is ever anything that I could look up for you, please don't hesitate to ask me. I'll be glad to."

#5 Valerie Forren Crook ([email protected])

"I am the WV GenWeb "C.C." (County Coordinator) for ...
Greenbrier Co., WV (https://sites.rootsweb.com/~wvgreenb/green-lup.htm)
Randolph Co., WV (https://sites.rootsweb.com/~wvrandol/voluntee.htm)
Pocahontas Co. WV (https://sites.rootsweb.com/~wvpocaho/lookup.html)"

Instead of listing my address, perhaps it would be better to link directly to the county Look-up pages. I have to ask this since I have assumed the duties of State Archivist of the WV USGenWeb Archives, and I am extremely overloaded at the moment. :)

Another resource for CUTLIP researchers is the USGenWeb Archives - West Virginia at https://sites.rootsweb.com/usgenweb/wv/wvfiles.htm. There is a search engine there for the West Virginia specific files. I just did a search for CUTLIP and came up with 35 matches. There is also a link here to the US Archives which is searchable by state.

#6 Denell Burks ([email protected])

"I have Family Tree Maker 1850 INDIANA census. Will do look ups."

#7 Hundreds of people with hundreds of disks are waiting to do look-ups for you at this website: http://genweb.net/~gen-cds/cdlist.html

Please contact the Cutlip Connection and add your name to this Look-Up List of Cutlip research assistants; then, others can contact you directly.
