Mrs. Abraham R. Hyman

Mrs. Mollie Hyman, 46, wife of Abraham R. Hyman of 28 Fanning Avenue, died
Thursday morning at Baker Memorial hospital, Boston, after one month's
illness.

Mrs. Hyman was born in Norwich, Dec. 21, 1903, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Max
Rabinovitch.  She attended the local schools and graduated from Norwich
Commercial College.

Mrs. Hyman was married in New York city, Sept. 3, 1921.  She was a member of
Beth Jacob Community synagogue and a director of the sisterhood.  She also
was a member of the ORT, the National council of Jewish Women, the Hadassah,
the Woman's City club and of the home service committee of the American Red
Cross.  Mrs. Hyman was a former secretary of the League of Women Voters
here.

Surviving are her husband, her father; a daughter, Mrs. Betty Sokol, wife of
Attorney Louis Sokol of New London; a sister, Mrs. Sadie Stromer, and two
brothers, Jack Rabinovitch of Miami, Fla. and Nathan Rabinovitch of New York
city.
