This cemetery is situated about three-fifths of a mile east of Chapinville Church at the intersection of the roads that lead to Twin Lakes and Coppper Hill respectively.
This yard is about one-half acre in area and was deeded to the town by John Weldon on Jan. 5, 1789. The consideration was forty shillings, and the purchase was made pursuant to a town vote, passed Dec. 1, 1788. At that time the dwelling house of William Bement stood near the enclosure.
This yard recieves very little attention as to up-keep, but at the present time is in fairley good condition
