The autograph books were given to Kitty Scharf by her aunt, who is 89 years old.  They  had belonged to her father, Edward Joseph Braund, the only child of Rachel  D. Huckell born in Hillsgrove, Pa. in 1827. Her father was Benjamin Huckell.  Below is a  list the names of those who signed the books.  Given the "flowery"  penmanship that was used, it is sometimes hard to tell about the spelling, Most dates are 1878 and 1879.
