The property was owned by Reynolds Mining, is now owned by ALCOA, and there is a locked gate. The cemetery is over a mile down the road from the gate. In the last 27 years many stones have disappeared. Coincidently, the last marked interment was Jewell B. Williams who died on May 6, 1975. Directions from Benton: Edison Avenue to Bauxite, Highway #183. Take road to right out of Bauxite, go past Reynolds Mining Office (about 2 miles) - take first black top road to left - go about 1/4 mile - take gravel road at the curve - the cemetery is at the end of the road. It is past the older cemetery (Abercrombie/Carpenter), which is on the left. The oldest marked grave is that of: Mollie P.
