WHYNOT Foreign Characters on Pedigree Charts

Quite often, it occurs to genealogists that names ought by rights be recorded by the genealogy program in the language of the name. That is to say, a French name should have all the French language diacriticals, and the Swedish names should have all the Swedish alphabet.

WHICH of those persons is my husband's grandmother, whose name is spelt in English as Bhagwani? I neither speak nor read this language.
