Sir Robert de Tibetot Knt. attended Prince Edward (later Edward I) to the Holy Land in 1270.2 Tunisian Crusade between July 1270 and September 1271. He married Eva de Chaworth, daughter of Patrick de Chaworth and Hawise de Londres, before 1272.3 (1272/73) In the 1st Edward I, constituted, on Edward's ascension, Governor of Nottingham Castle, Justice of South Wales, and Governor of the castles of Carmarthan and Cardigan.2 Arms: Argent, a saltire indented gules.4 (1284/85) In the 13th Edward I, had a grant from John, son of Gerard de Rodes, to himself, his wife, and his son, in fee, of the manors of Langar and Berneston at Nottinghamshire, England.2 (1291/92) In the 20th Edward I, fought, as the king's lieutenant for Wales, and defeated Rees ap Meredith, in a great battle, wherein four thousand Welshmen were slain, and Rees himself was captured, made prisoner, conveyed to York, and executed.2 Sir Robert de Tibetot Knt. was in the wars in Gascony and Scotland after 1293.2 He died in 1297/98. Summons to Parliament called by the Earl of Leicester, in the King's name, all the while holding the King prisoner. Five Earls included. On 24 December 1264.2 Ralph, 1st Lord Bassett of Drayton was summoned to the Earl of Leicester's Parliament by writ directed "Radulfo Basset de Drayton" on 24 December 1264.2 1st Lord Basset of Drayton at Staffordshire between 4 August 1265 and 1299.3 He married Joan de Grey, daughter of Reginald, 1st Baron Grey of Wilton and Maud FitzHugh.4 Ralph, 1st Lord Bassett of Drayton was a Member of Parliament between 1295 and 1299. The forces of Edward I defeat a Scottish army under William Wallace. On 22 July 1298 at the Battle of Falkirk, Scotland.5 He took part in the Battle of Falkirk where the English defeated the Scots on 22 July 1298.6 Arms: Paly or and gules, a canton ermine.7 He died on 31 December 1299.8

He was the son of Robert II de Tregoz, Baron of Ewyas Harold and Julia de Cantilupe.1,3 John, Lord Tregoz, Ewyas Harold was heir of his father on 4 August 1265.2 He had livery of his lands on doing his homage to King Henry III, and had such favor of the king, notwithstanding his father's treason, that he was acquitted of 50 marks of the £100 then due for his relief, in 1267/68 at 52 Henry III.2 He attended the king in an expedition made into Wales in 1281/82 at 10 Edward I.2 He married Mabel FitzWarine, daughter of Fulk, 1st Lord FitzWarine.2 John, Lord Tregoz, Ewyas Harold was in the campaign of Gascony, where he had permission for his wife and family to reside in the castle of Devizes, and to have fuel for their fires there, in 1293/94 at 22 Edward I.2 He was first summoned to parliament as a Baron on 6 February 1299.2 He was again summoned to parliament on 10 April 1299.2 He died in 1300. He died seized of the castle of Ewyas-Harold, with its members in the marches of Wales, which he held by barony: the manor of Eton-Tregoz, in Herefordshire, and estates in Wiltshire, Salopshire, and Northamptonshire. At his death, the Barony of Tregoz fell into abeyance between his grandson, John de la Warre, and his 2nd daughter, Sybil de Grandison, as still continues with their representatives.2 He was a witness where John, 2nd Lord La Warre involved, along with his aunt Sybil, with the estate of his grandfather, John de Tregoz, in 1300.2
