     Comte de Luxembourg Henri IV d' Arlon was born in December 1240.³ He was the son of Henri III "le Blondel", comte de Luxembourg and Marguerite de Bar-sur-Seine, dame de Ligny.^1,2 Comte de Luxembourg Henri IV d' Arlon married Beatrice d' Avesnes, daughter of Baudouin d' Avesnes and Felicite de Coucy, in 1261.³ Comte de Luxembourg Henri IV d' Arlon was a witness where Jean I "le Victorieux", duc de Brabant bought the duchy of Limburg from Adolph V of Berg, and secured this acquisition by defeating and slaying his competitor, Henry of Luxembourg, at the Battle of Woeringen on 5 June 1288.⁴ Comte de Luxembourg Henri IV d' Arlon died on 5 June 1288 at the Battle of Woeringen at age 47 years and 6 months. He was killed in battle by John I of Brabant.^1,4

     Also called Maud of Brabant.² Also called Matilda de Brabant.³ Mahaud de Brabant was born circa 1224. She was the daughter of Henri II "le Magnanime", duc de Brabant and Maria von Schwaben. Mahaud de Brabant married Robert I, comte d' Artois, son of Louis VIII "le Lion", roi de France and Blanche Alfonsez de Castilla, on 14 June 1237 at Campiegne; Her 1st. From this union descend the Counts of Artois.^4,5 Mahaud de Brabant married Guy de Châtillon, comte de Blois & de St. Pol, son of Hugues de Châtillon, comte de St. Pol & de Blois and Marie d' Avesnes, comtesse de Blois, in 1251; Her 2nd (widow).¹ Mahaud de Brabant died on 29 September 1288.⁴ Mahaud de Brabant was buried in Cherchamp, Artois.

     Beatrix de Brabant was born in 1235.¹ She was the daughter of Henri II "le Magnanime", duc de Brabant and Maria von Schwaben. Beatrix de Brabant married Heinrich Raspe IV, Landgraf von Thüringen, son of Hermann I, Landgraf von Thüringen and Sophia von Wittelsbach-Bayern, Landgräfin von Thüringen, in 1241. Beatrix de Brabant married Guillaume III de Dampierre, son of Guillaume II, seigneur de Dampierre & de S. Dizier and Margareta II, comtesse de Hainaut et Flandre, on 9 November 1247.¹ Beatrix de Brabant died on 11 November 1288 at age 53 years.¹

     John Le Strange was born in 1265?. He was the son of Robert Le Strange of Wrockwarden and Eleanore de Blancminster.¹ John Le Strange was acquitted of 14l. due for his relief in 1286.¹ He was granted seisin of his father's lands on giving security to do homage on 6 October 1287.¹ He died on 18 June 1289 at age 24 years.¹

     Heinrich XIII, Herzog von Nieder-Bayern was born circa 1225. He was the son of Otto II "der Erlauchte", Herzog von Bayern. Heinrich XIII, Herzog von Nieder-Bayern married Erzsébet, Hercegnõ Magyarország, daughter of Béla IV, Király Magyarország and Maria Laskarina, in 1250.^2,3 Heinrich XIII, Herzog von Nieder-Bayern succeeded his father to, and co-ruling with Louis II, his brother, the duchy of Bavaria in 1253.⁴ Duke of Bavaria at Kingdom of Germany, German Empire, between 29 November 1253 and 1255.⁴ He split the duchy of Bavaria with his brother, Louis, taking Lower Bavaria in 1255.      Sir Roger de Harsyck was born circa 1264 at Southacre, Norfolk, England. He was the son of Sir Alexander de Harsyck and Cecily Jernegan. Sir Roger de Harsyck died after 1290.

     Also called Elizabeth of Bosnia. Erzsebet of the Kumans was born in 1240. She was the daughter of Kuthen, Kahn of the Polowets and N. N. of Galicia.^1,2,3 Erzsebet of the Kumans married István V, Király Magyarország, son of Béla IV, Király Magyarország and Maria Laskarina, in 1255; His father had him married for political reasons. "In the interests of protecting Christianity," Bela advised the Pope, "we married our first born son to a Cuman girl... to secure the possibility of converting these people to Christianity."^4,1 Erzsebet of the Kumans died after 1290.

     Devorgilla of Galloway was born circa 1214. She was the daughter of Alan, Lord Galloway and Margeret MacCrinan.^2,3,4 Devorgilla of Galloway married John de Baliol, son of Hugh de Baliol, Baron of Biwell and Cecily de Fontaine, in 1233.^3,2 Devorgilla of Galloway and John de Baliol were founded Balliol College at Oxford, England. Devorgilla of Galloway died on 28 January 1289/90.^3,2

     Arms: Azure, three garbs or.² Alexander Comyn, 6th Earl of Buchan was born circa 1233. He was the son of William Comyn, 5th Earl of Buchan and Margaret, Countess of Buchan. Alexander Comyn, 6th Earl of Buchan married Elizabeth de Quincy, daughter of Roger, 2nd Earl of Winchester and Helen of Galloway. Alexander Comyn, 6th Earl of Buchan died before 6 April 1290.

     Agnes de Ferrers was born circa 1244.¹ She was the daughter of William III, 5th Earl of Derby and Margaret de Quincy.¹ Agnes de Ferrers married Sir Robert de Muscegros, son of Sir John de Muscegros and Cecily Avenel. Agnes de Ferrers died on 11 May 1290.¹

     László IV "the Cuman", Király Magyarország was born in 1262.² He was the son of István V, Király Magyarország and Erzsebet of the Kumans.^1,2 László IV "the Cuman", Király Magyarország succeeded his father to the throne of Hungary in 1272. He married Elizabeth d' Anjou, daughter of Charles I "le Défenseur de l'Église", roi de Jérusalem et de Sicile and Beatrix, comtesse de Provence & de Forcalquier, in 1272.^3,4,2 King of Hungary between 1272 and 1290.^2,5 László IV "the Cuman", Király Magyarország was a witness where Rudolf I, Römischer König acquired the lands of Austria, the Steiermark, and Carinithia from King Ottokar II Premysl of Bohemia, which became the basis of the future Habsburg powerbase in 1276.^6,7 László IV "the Cuman", Király Magyarország witnessed the death of Premysl Ottokar II, King of Bohemia on 26 August 1278 at near Dürnkrut; Killed fleeing after the defeat he suffered in battle aginst Rudolf I von Habsburg and Ladislaus IV of Hungary.^8,7,9 László IV "the Cuman", Király Magyarország was the predecessor of András III, Király Magyarország; King of Hungary.^10,11 László IV "the Cuman", Király Magyarország died on 10 July 1290 at Körösszeg at age 28 years. He was murdered in his camp by the Cumans, who never forgave him for attacking them in 1282.      Queen of Scotland Margaret, the Maid of Norway was born before 9 April 1283 at Tönsberg, Norway.^1,3 She was the daughter of Erik II "the Priest Hater" Magnusson, King of Norway and Margaret MacCrinan.¹ As of 1286, Queen of Scotland Margaret, the Maid of Norway also went by the name of The Maid of Norway. She succeeded her grandfather, Alexander III, on 19 March 1286.³ Queen of Scotland between 19 March 1286 and 26 September 1290.³ She died on 26 September 1290 at the Orkney Islands. She died, unmarried, while en-route to Scotland. The death of Margaret left Scotland without a Monarch and at the mercy of Edward I. Thus begun the first Interegnum, and the contest between 13 claimants.^1,3,4

     Also called infante de Castille Éléonore de Castille.⁶ Eleanor, infante de Castille also went by the name of Eleanor "the Faithful".      Beatrix van Vlaanderen was born circa 1249. She married Floris V "der Keerlen God", Graaf van Holland, son of Willem II, Graaf van Holland and Elisabeth von Braunschweig, in 1269.¹ Beatrix van Vlaanderen died on 5 April 1291.¹

     Alfonso III "el Liberal", rey de Aragón was born in 1267.² He was the son of Pere III "el Grando", rey de Aragón and Constance von Staufen, Queen of Sicily.¹ Alfonso III "el Liberal", rey de Aragón succeeded his father, Peter III, to the throne of Aragón in 1285. King of Aragón at Spain between 1285 and 1291.¹ Styled Alfonsi Dei Gracia Regis Aragonum Maioric[arum] et Valencie ac Comitis Barch[i]n[onensis].³ He definitively conquered Minorca island in 1287.⁴ He died on 18 June 1291 at age 24 years.⁵

      Éléanore, Queen of England was the daughter of Raymond Berengar IV, count of Provence, and a daughter of Thomas I, count of Savoy.³ She was born in 1223 at Aix-en-Provence, France.^6,7,3 She was the daughter of Ramón-Berenguer IV, comte de Provence & de Forcalquier and Beatrix de Savoie.^4,5 Éléanore, Queen of England married Henry III, King of England, son of Jean "Sans Terre", roi d' Angleterre and Isabella, comtesse d'Angoulême, on 14 January 1236 at Canterbury Cathedral, Canterbury, Kent, England; 3rd cousins, 2x removed.^{6,8,7,9,5,10,3} Éléanore, Queen of England became the leader of the royalist exiles in France after rebel barons captured Henry and took over the government in May 1264.³ She was able to raise an invasion force, but her fleet was wrecked at Sluis at Flanders.³ She was returned to England after the rebels were crushed in August 1265.³ She retired to a nunnery at Amesbury after August 1274 at Wiltshire, England.³ She died on 25 June 1291 at Amesbury Abbey, Wiltshire, England, at age 68 years.³ Éléanore, Queen of England was buried in Westminster Abbey, London, England.

She was the daughter of marchese di Ceva Giorgio I del Vasto and Menzia (?).² Aluigia del Vasto married Tomasso I del Vasto, marchese di Saluzzo, son of Manfredo III del Vasto, marchese di Saluzzo and Queen Consort Beatrix de Savoie, in 1258.³ Aluigia del Vasto died on 22 August 1291.^2,1

     Sir John d'Eiville was knight, of Egmanton, Nottinghamshire, Adlingfleet, Kilburn and Thornton, county York
.¹ He was born say 1236. He was the son of Robert d'Eiville Knt., of Egmanton and Denise fitz Thomas.¹ Sir John d'Eiville was Chief Justice and Keeper of the King's forests North of Trent between 1257 and 1261.² He joined the baronial cause, and appointed Constable of Scarborough Castle on 6 September 1264.² John was summoned to parliament on 24 December 1264 as 'Johanni de Eyvill.¹' He occupied Isle of Axholme with younger Simon de Montfort in 1265.² He continued action against royal forces, occupying Southwark with Earl of Gloucester in April 1267.² He admitted to the King's peace and had seizin of his lands and remission of the first year of his ransom on 1 July 1267. His fine was the largest imposed on the former rebels, at 600 marks. His lands had been granted to Queen Eleanor, wife of Henry III, following Evesham; due to his restoration, the King wrote a letter to Queen Eleanor 1 July 1267 requesting she accept this decision 'for reasons which he will explain more fully at their next talk together.²' He received lands in Barnborough and Darfield as inheritance from brother Adam (d.s.p. 1282)
in 1282.¹ He became a household knight of King Edward in 1284. 'John d'Eyvile headed a list of bannerets in a document in 1284-5, and served the king loyally until his death in 1291.³' He died before October 1291.¹

     Beatrix de Savoie was born circa 1245. She was the daughter of Amédée IV, comte de Savoie and Cecile des Baux dit Passerose.^1,2,3 Beatrix de Savoie married Pierre de Chalon, son of Jean I "le Sage", comte de Bourgogne and Isabeau de Courtenay, on 21 October 1258; Her 1st.^1,4 Beatrix de Savoie married Juan Emmanuel, Senor de Escalona, Penafiel y Villena, son of Ferdinand III "el Santo", rey de Castilla y de León and Elisabeth von Hohenstaufen, in 1269; His 2nd.      Jeanne de Châtillon was born in 1258.¹ She was the daughter of Jean de Châtillon, comte de Blois and Alix de Bretagne.² Jeanne de Châtillon married Pierre, comte d' Alençon, Blois, et Chartres, son of Louis IX "le Saint", roi de France and Marguerite de Provence, in 1272.² Jeanne de Châtillon died in 1292 at age 34 years.¹

     Earl of Monteith Walter Ballach Stewart was the son of Walter fitz Alan, 3rd High Steward of Scotland and Beatrix of Angus.¹ Also called Walter "the Freckled".¹ Earl of Monteith Walter Ballach Stewart was said to have accompanied St. Louis on Crusade in Egypt in 1248.¹ He married Countess of Monteith Mary of Monteith, daughter of 3rd Earl of Monteith Maurice of Monteith, before 1260.¹ Earl of Monteith at Scotland in 1260.¹ Earl of Monteith Walter Ballach Stewart was invested with the earldom of Monteith by right of his wife in 1260.¹ Sheriff of Ayr at Scotland in 1263.¹ Sheriff of Dunbarton at Scotland in 1271.¹ He died after 1292.¹ Earl of Monteith Walter Ballach Stewart was buried in the ruined Priory of Inchmahome, on the Lake of Monteith, Scotland. His tombstone with his wife's effigy beside his own in armor is perhaps the most beautiful medieval tomb surviving in Scotland.¹

     Sir Hugh Courtenay of Oakhampton was a witness where Evelina de Courtenay daughter of Hugh de Courtenay, and sister of Hugh, Earl of Devon.³ Sir Hugh Courtenay of Oakhampton was born before 1256 at Okehampton, Devon, England.⁴ He was the son of John de Courtenay, Baron of Oakhampton and Isabel de Vere.² Sir Hugh Courtenay of Oakhampton married Eleanor le Despencer, daughter of Hugh (le Despencer), Lord Le Despencer and Aliva Basset, circa 1274 at Devon, England.^4,2 Sir Hugh Courtenay of Oakhampton campaigned in West Wales in 1282.² Baron of Oakhampton at Devonshire, England, before 1292. He died on 20 February 1292.

     Margaret de Savoie was born in 1247?. She was the daughter of Thomas II, comte de Savoie and Beatrix Fieschi di Lavagna.² Margaret de Savoie married Baldwin, 7th Earl of Devon, son of Baldwin, 6th Earl of Devon and Amice de Clare, in 1257.¹ Margaret de Savoie died before 14 May 1292.³

     Also called Pierre de Joinville, seigneur de Vaucouleurs.³ Piers de Geneville, Lord of Mede, Vaucouleur, and Trim was born circa 1261. He was the son of Geoffroy de Joinville, seigneur de Vaucouleurs and Maud de Lacy.³ Piers de Geneville, Lord of Mede, Vaucouleur, and Trim married Jeanne de Lusignan dit de la Marche, daughter of Hugues XII "le Brun", sire de Lusignan, comte de la March et d'Angoulême and Jeanne, dame de Fougères, before 11 October 1283; Her 2nd.^3,4 Piers de Geneville, Lord of Mede, Vaucouleur, and Trim died before 8 June 1292.

     Kunigunde von Brandenburg was born circa 1244. She was the daughter of Otto II, Markgraf von Brandenburg.¹ Kunigunde von Brandenburg married Béla, Herceg of Slovenia, son of Béla IV, Király Magyarország and Maria Laskarina, on 25 October 1264.¹ Kunigunde von Brandenburg died after 9 June 1292.¹

     Richard de Braose was of Stinton, Norfolk, etc.¹ He was born circa 1222. He was the son of John Tadody de Braose, Lord of Bramber and Gower and Margred verch Llewelyn.¹ Richard de Braose died before 18 June 1292.¹ Richard de Braose was buried in Woodbridge Priory, Suffolk, England.¹

     Kinga, Hercegnõ Magyarország was born in 1224.¹ She was the daughter of Béla IV, Király Magyarország and Maria Laskarina.¹ Kinga, Hercegnõ Magyarország married Boleslaw V Wstydliwy, Królewicz Polska, son of Leszek Bialy, Królewicz Polska, in 1239.^1,2 Kinga, Hercegnõ Magyarország died on 24 July 1292 at age 68 years.¹

     Alasia del Vasto was born circa 1267 at Saluzza, Italy. She was the daughter of Tomasso I del Vasto, marchese di Saluzzo and Aluigia del Vasto.¹ Alasia del Vasto married Richard, 11th Earl of Arundel, son of John, Lord of Clun and Oswestry, 10th Earl of Arundel and Isabella de Mortimer, Countess of Arundel, at Marlborough, Wiltshire, England; His 2nd.^1,2 Alasia del Vasto died on 25 September 1292.³ Alasia del Vasto was buried in Toddingham Priory, England.³

     Alice de Sanford was born circa 1232. She was the daughter of Gilbert de Sanford and Lora la Zouche.¹ Alice de Sanford inherited the manors of Great Hormead and Nuthampstead, in Hertfordshire, and Fingrith, Margaretting, and Woolverston in Chigwell, Essex, all held by her father in grand serjeantry by the service of her father acting as the Queen's Chamberlain at her coronation.² She was a minor at her father's death and her wardship was sold to Fulk Basset, Bishop of London in April 1249.³ She was still a minor when her wardship was again sold, this time to Hugh de Vere, Earl of Oxford, who married Alice to his son and heir Robert in June 1249.³ She married Robert (de Vere), 5th Earl of Oxford, Hereditary Master Chamberlain of England, son of Hugh (de Vere), 4th Earl of Oxford and Hawise de Quincy.¹ Alice de Sanford died before 1293. She died in 1317.⁴

     Also called Isabel de Redvers.² Isabel de Reviers was born circa 1230?. She was born circa 1239. She was the daughter of Baldwin, 6th Earl of Devon and Amice de Clare.¹ Isabel de Reviers married William de Forez, 6th Earl of Aumale before 1259; His 2nd.² Isabel de Reviers died in 1293. D.s.p.s.¹ She was a witness where Warin de Lisle made his claim to the inheritance of Isabel de Forz, Countess of Aumale, daughter of Baldwin, Earl of Devon, in 1294.³ Her estate was probated; Warin de Lisle, d. 1296, was found to be one of her heirs.¹

     Thomas, Baron Multon of Gillesland was born circa 1225?. He was the son of Thomas, Baron Multon of Gillesland and Maud de Vaux.^1,2 Thomas, Baron Multon of Gillesland did his homage and had livery of his lands in 1270.² He was found, upon the death of Helewise de Levinton, widow of Eustace de Baliol, to be her heir as to a moiety of the Barony of Burgh upon the Sands (he already enjoyed the other moiety by inheritence), and divers other considerable manors in 1271.² He died in 1293.²

     Sir Giles de Fiennes Knt. was born circa 1250.¹ He was the son of Enguerrand II, seigneur de Fiennes, baron de Tingry & de Ruminghen.¹ Sir Giles de Fiennes Knt. and Guillaume II, baron de Fiennes & de Tingry joined the crusade to the Holy Land under Lord Edward between 1270 and 1272.² Sir Giles de Fiennes Knt. married Sybilla Fillol at Wartling, Sussex, England.¹ Sir Giles de Fiennes Knt. died in 1293.¹

     John de Braybrooke was born circa 1220 at Braybrook, Northamptonshire, England.¹ He was the son of Gerard de Braybrooke and Lora (?).² John de Braybrooke married Joan (?) circa 1250 at Colmworth, Bedfordshire, England.^1,3 John de Braybrooke was living in 1276.³ He died after 1293.¹

     Obizzo II d' Este was an illegitimate son of Rinaldo I, Margrave of Ferrara.² He was born in 1247.⁴ He was the son of Rinaldo I d' Este, Markgraf von Ferrara and N. N. , a mistress of Rinaldo I of Este.^2,3 Obizzo II d' Este died on 13 February 1293 at age 46 years.⁵
