Research Services
The Foothills Genealogical Society's genealogist will check a surname for the available records of Jefferson, Gilpin, Clear Creek and Park Counties for a donation of $10.00. The money will go toward the genealogy collection of the Lakewood Public Library which is a part of the Jefferson County Library system. Available records consist of the 1885 Colorado State Census Index for all four counties; birth, marriage and death records as available; index for fifty publications done by Foothills; along with limited look-ups at the Colorado State Archives.
The query must include the full name of the individual to be researched along with AT LEAST one approximate date for birth, marriage, and/or death. Also, please provide the time period that the individual was in Colorado and, if known, the county of residence.
