Nita's Clardy Collection
With allied families
Welcome to my little corner of the "net". These pages are dedicated to the researchers of CLARDY. I have collected a good quantity of documents on several CLARDY's, none of which I can connect to my line. Therefore, I present these pages in hopes that someone will find them useful. I also have included some info I have on my Kilpatrick line who married into the Clardys very early. The Kilpatricks are well documented back to our Revolutionary soldier by other researchers, thus I only included what I think may be interesting or helpful-mostly land records.
The quest for family history started over 35 years ago with my mother researching
her line of Sisemore's and Allen's, and along the way she started the research
for CLARDY. It has not been an easy road to identify a family for my 3ggrandfather,
Benjamin S. Clardy. No one apparently knows of him. Efforts have been made
to find the ancestry of Benjamin since the beginning, with NO windfalls, only
brick walls. Thus I have not found the parents or any siblings of Benjamin
S. Clardy. Please take a minute and get familiar with my mystery man here:
Benjamin S. Clardy

I would like to give a special thanks to my dear friend Doreen Allen [ no relation ] for introducing me to web page creation and for collecting many of the Kilpatrick documents within this site. She happened to be living in Iredell Co., NC and copied many documents for me and snail mailed them to me. Wasn't that convenient! Thanks Doreen. And while I'm at it I would like to thank my mother for rambling on and on for years about all our very interesting ancestors. I couldn't keep up with what she already knew-which is why I got started.
thanxs to: http://english.wunderground.com for the freebie weather info!
