Alguire: 3 May 1763 - between Peter Koontz eldest son and heir of Michael Koontz late of Hallam Twp. yeoman deceased who died intestate of the one part and Philip Rothrack and Philip Bends both of the County afs. yeomen of the other Part - for the sum of £80. Michael Koontz lately died intestate possessed of an improvement and tract of land situate in Hallam Twp. adjoining lands of Ulrich Strickler, Nicholas Conn, and Henry Hendricks - leaving issue the afs. Peter Koontz his eldest son a widow and sundrie other children. Now for the sum of £80 s. Peter Koontz hath sold unto Philip Rothrack and Philip Bends all that his share of land afs. and all his share of the personal estate whereof s. Michael Koontz died possessed. [Recorded 20 Aug 1777] Thomas Fisher, merchant of York County, Pennsylvania transfers to Rudolph Crapster, farmer of Frederick County, 100 acres, part of the tract called "Addition to Brooks Discovery on the Richland" and adjacent to a parcel recently made over by Andrew Parke and Abraham Hayter to Peter Coonce.

"Anthony Havely, John Rinehart Rippleogle, Stephen Wible, John Welty, Philip Nell, Peter Coonce, John Grouce, all of Frederick County, Farmers, and Samuel Givings of Baltimore County, Gentlem(a)n, are held and firmly bound to Robert Couden and John Clapham, Commissioners, for emitting bills of credit established by the act of Assembly of the Province of Maryland in the sum of 450 pounds stirling to be paid to said commissioners ... bond for 450 pounds at rate mentioned in above act ... at 4 % per annum ...
