The surname appears in this document as Vuillomen, but the more usual or modern version is Vuillemin, or possibly Vulliermin. This Claude may be the Claudy Vulliermin (d. 1539, married Alice daughter of Jean de Corbi�res and Marie Cerjat) listed by Benoit de Diesbach-Belleroche as son of Jean Vulliermin, whose daughter Claudaz (de Diesbach-Belleroche says Agn�s) married Claude Fivaz.

We follow the genealogy given by Benoit de Diesbach-Belleroche from the internet, which identifies this Jean Vuillemin (or Vuillermin, the name wavers between forms with and without the "r" over a long period) as gouverneur d'Estavayer 1500-1501, son of Loys Vuillermin and Agnes Berchiez. However, it is possible that the family in question is in fact the one at Corcelles-pr�s-Payerne, rather than the more notable family at Estavayer.
