Married Sara, daughter of the late Daniel Dutoit, widow of the late Abraham Dutoit (marriage contract 26 sep 1685, J. Crausaz, notary). This appears to be made somewhat clearer by another document of J. Crausaz (14 dec 1681) in which Jeanne [Wagni�res], widow of Daniel Dutoit, with her nephew Anthoine Dutoit Lt. de Chavannes, and Abraham Dutoit the elder her brother-in-law, sells to Abraham Dutoit le jeune her son-in-law and also Sara her daughter.
It is possible this is the same Daniel Veyre whose daughter Susanne (born after 1688) was the wife of Jean Antoine Dutoit of Chesalles.
Daniel had a cousin Thomas Dutoit (1685). This would have to be Thomas b. 1651 son of Abraham Dutoit and Pernon Veyre. That would make Daniel's father Jean Veyre the brother of Pernon Veyre.

In addition to being the first husband of Andrianne Bouchet, he is also identified as the "cousin" of the Jean Dutoit, hoste and later conseiller, who married Marie Fudry, widow of Gabriel Dutoit (1659, Benoit Giraudet, notary at Moudon). There seem to be no other Daniel Fran�ois Veyre's, but we have still not worked out how he can be a cousin of Jean Dutoit.
There are a number of tantalizing hints. At the baptism of Abraham, son of Daniel Fran�ois "Were" and _____ Bouchet, 01 sep 1649, the sponsors include Thomas Dutoit in the name of his absent brother Abraham, and Marie wife of Gabriel Dutoit. The notary Benoit Giraudet recorded (25 may 1657, in the minutaires on FHL microfilm #0922365) a settlement with Thomas Dutoit "and his sister" regarding differences with Daniel Fran�ois Veyre. He appears evidently as a cousin of Jean Dutoit, second husband of Marie Fudri, who was previously the wife of Gabriel Dutoit. It is possible that the actual relationship was stated incorrectly in the marriage contract, and that he was actually a relative of Gabriel Dutoit or even of Marie Fudri, through a marriage that has not been discovered. However, Daniel Fran�ois Veyre was actually a first cousin of Thomas Dutoit son of Anthoine Dutoit (Banderet) and Susanne Masset, their common grandparents being Thomas Dutoit and Mayre Panchaud. So far, the only way Daniel Fran�ois Veyre can be made to be a first cousin of Jean Dutoit, second husband of Marie Fudri, is by assuming that Thomas Dutoit and Mayre Panchaud had an unrecorded son Jean.
[14529] Contract dated 05 may 1647 recorded by David Curlat (ACV DG 71/1), mentions that the groom was accompanied by his uncle Dutoit, judge at Moudon.
