Died by 1522, at which time his sons Jean and Michel were already appearing in notarial records as adults, buying and selling land. His son Claude was evidently not yet of age, as he had a guardian, Pierre Gachet. By 1526, Nobles Jean, Michel, and Claude Fivvaz had commissioned a volume of reconnaissances (ACV Fl 460) for their "fief de St. Maurice" at Villars-en-Vully, held jointly. This property had been acquired from Noble Claude de Pitigny (Fitigny?).
His marriage contract of 25 oct 1506 (Pierre Ruerat, notary at Payerne, ACV DP 92) mentions that he has children by his first wife Agneta, daughter of Johannes Vuilliemin of Estavayer.

This Claude was still not of age as of 1522, when transactions relating to his father's estate appear in the records of several notaries. His guardian at that time was Pierre Gachet. He was present at the wedding of Niklaus Gatschet in 1559, and identified as his cousin. Niklaus also records his death "obiit cognatus meus Claudius Fyuwaz."
At some point, he may have married Catherine, daughter of the notary Pierre Chuard (cited 1555).

Jean and his brother Michel were the universal heirs of the late Johannes Vuylliomyn (Vuillemin) of Estavayer. It appears that Jean and Michel were the children of Claude Fivaz by his first wife, and Claude was the son by the second wife. Jean left a daughter Isabel who married Antoine Succanier, cited in the terrier ACV Fl 462, fol. 99, dated 14 apr 1586, a "reconnaissance" for property descended from Isabel that had been acquired by the Gachet family by an exchange with the Succanier family. It is not yet clear who the mother of Isabel was.

The fact that Jean and Michel Fivaz, brothers, were married to Jaqueta and Catherine Crostel, sisters of Guillaume Crostel, is mentioned several times in the registers of Aim� Chuard, notary at Payerne (ACV Dp 15). Guillaume Crostel, brother-in-law of Jean and Michel, refers in 1549 to a partial payment of the dowries that he made "about 20 years ago" (ACV Dp 15/4, fol. 231v, 08 jul 1549). It is likely that both marriage took place about the same time. By 1561, MIchel was living at Estavayer, perhaps in order to remain Catholic, and had married Jeanne Bize, half sister of Noble Guillaume Espaz of Moudon, and widow of Claude Nicod, notary of Granges (ACV Dp 16/8, fol. 395, 02 may 1561).
