Identified as the Benoite Dutoit who married Jaques Becholey of Chesalles, thanks to a document recorded by Isaac Dutoit, notary at Moudon (ACV DL 37/8), 19 feb 1703, in which Benoite Dutoit, wife of Jaqeus Becholey of Chesalles, with approval of her brother-in-law Toni Berzin, and her first cousin (germain) Jacob Dutoit, officier de Chavannes, acknowledges a debt to Antoine Dutoit of Chavannes, regarding a letter of rent signed by the notary Viret, dated 14 oct 1665. Toni Berzin had married her sister Jeanne Dutoit, and Jacob Dutoit was her double cousin, since Jacob's mother was a sister of Benoite's mother, and Jacob's father was a brother of Benoite's father.

Living at the mill of Bressonaz in 1611. Only very scattered references to Bernard, so we must either suppose that he lived elsewhere most of the time (adjacent territories controlled by Fribourg?) or that some of the references are in error, perhaps by misunderstanding or misreading of some other name. By 1624, we note a Jean Dutoit living at Bressonaz, apparently Bernard's brother.
She is listed as Byatricia filia Clementis Detecto (i.e., B�atrice daughter of Clement Dutoit), the first of a long list of property owners at Chavannes-sur-Moudon, in a "reconnaissance" dated 11 apr 1381, now in the Archives Communales de Chavannes-sur-Moudon. It is likely that Clemens was already deceased and that Byatricia was old enough to enter into contracts in her own name. Further, it does not seem likely that Byatricia would have appeared on this list if she had any living brothers. Apart from those deductions, we have no further information about this family. The only other Dutoit in the same list is one Nicodus Detecto, who might therefore be presumed to be the progenitor of most or all of the Dutoit family in later generations at Chavannes. Arguing against this view, however, is the frequent mention of the neighboring villages of Morlens and Vuarmarens (now in the Canton of Fribourg) in the documents concerning the Dutoit family at Chavannes in the 15th and 16th Centuries. It is possible that the Dutoit at Chavannes in the 14th Century were replaced by later arrivals from these villages.

A document of Jean Maquelin, notary at Vevey, dated 29 jun 1615, relates to settlement of a dispute about the settlement of Catherine's estate and the terms of her testament.

Her testament of 21 jul 1736 was probated 01 aug 1736 (records of Jaques David Burnand, notary and curial at Moudon). It names her daughter Elizabeth, sister Estiennaz Dutoit wife of Antoine Dutoit, officier de Chavannes. The document also notes that her "cousin" is Mr. le justicier Dutoit, Ch�telain de Vulliens. At this date, that would be Abraham Dutoit, apparently son of Isaac Dutoit the notary who held this position until his death in 1731.
