No. 26 in the de Trey genealogy, which appears to give his date of birth as 1506 based on Annales d'Estavayer, not yet investigated. He survived the Reformation, because he was involved in a sale (as Domp Michiel de Trey, with his nephew Jehan de Trey) 12 feb 1563 (Benoit Nible, notary at Payerne, ACV Dp 73/6, fol. 6), and another transaction involving more of his relatives in 1566 (fol. 72v, 04 nov 1566).
No. 32 in the de Trey genealogy, which, however, makes him the son of Nicod (no. 24) rather than Jean (no. 25), contrary to what is found in his marriage contract (Benoit Nible, notary, ACV Dp 73/2, fol. 308, dated 20 may 1568). Michel was assisted in this contract by his brother Jean (no. 31 in the de Trey genealogy) and by a paternal cousin Antoine de Trey, who is identified in other records as a son of Nicod (no. 24), but omitted in the de Trey genealogy.
He is no. 34 in the de Trey genealogy, although the date cited there (a citation in the records of the communal archives of Payerne, 1573) seems much too early to pertain to a son of Fran�ois. One possibility is that there was a second Fran�ois who has escaped notice in the published genealogy.
This is evidently the Nicod son of Oddet "de Tribus" who married 07 mar 1515 to Catherine daughter of the late Jean Chuard of Cugy, accompanied by her brothers Claude and Nicod (Pierre Chuard, notary at Payerne, ACV DP 16/1, fol. 32v): Nycodus filius Oddeti de Tribus (=de Trey) burgensis ville Paterniaci, and Glaudius ac Nycodus fratres filii quondam Johannis Chuardi antenati de Cugiaco nomine et pro parte Catherine dictorum fratrum sororis, with release by bride. The de Trey genealogy mentions only what we believe to be the second wife, Bernardine Regnault. No. 24 in the de Trey genealogy.
Unfortunately, the recent published genealogy (Philippe Mottu, Les de Trey, bourgeois de Payerne, t�moins de leur temps, Morges: Editions Cab�dita, 1988) elected to omit the daughters, remarriages of wives, etc., as well as many citations that were presumably important to the analysis, probably for lack of space. The author refers to a number of previous unpublished genealogies of this family in various archives. Oddet is no. 23 in this publication.
He and his wife were still alive 10 mar 1506, when they transferred the patronage of the church at Barber�che to the city of Fribourg (act signed by Aymon de Torculari, cited in Appollinaire Dellion, Dictionnaire des paroisses catholiques du Canton de Fribourg, vol. 2, p. 34, 1884).
No. 40 in the de Trey genealogy. He is apparently the Samuel de Trey who was Secr�taire de Payerne about 1640, and whose "Cinquiesme Registre" of notarial records 1638-1646 survives (ACV DP 32/1; the register labeled DP 32/2 and at one time supposed to be from his hand clearly is not his, as it refers to him in the third person, and shows a very different script).
No. 49 in the de Trey genealogy, where his dates are listed as 1638-1693. The de Trey genealogy lists him as Banderet in 1679 and gives him wife Catherine Rapin.
