In the collection ACV PP 637, his records are in the section V/8/1: PP 637 V/8/1/001, testament of Guillaume co-seigneur de Blonay, chevalier, en faveur de son fils Jean, 24 jun 1345. 003, testament de Mermete, veuve de Guillaume, en faveur de ses fils, Jean, Aymon, Nicolas, 02 oct 1353 and 31 may 1355. 003bis, droit de rachat accord� pour huit ans par Guillaume de Blonay et Mermette son �pouse, en faveur de Pierre et Jeannod de Chatonnaye, de la moiti� des dimes per�ues sus le territoire de Chavannes-sur-Moudon et vendues pour le prix de 120 livres lausannoises, Januar 1330. 004bis, vente par Guillaume de Blonay chatelain de Vaulruz et Mermette sa femme, en faveur de Richard de Prez chevalier de la moiti� des dimes per�ues sur le territoire de Chavannes-sur-Moudon pour le prix de 120 livres, 04 jul 1336. 007, partage de l'hoirie de Bonarein (elsewhere Bonarem!) de Chatel et de Richard de Prez, par Jean de Blonay chevalier, en son nom et au nom de Catherine de Vuillens son �pouse, Guillaume, Pierre, et Richard de Vuillens d'une part, et Jean, Aymon, et Yanny de Prez donzels d'autre part, tous h�riteirs des biens sp�cifi�s dans l'acte, 03 jan 1374.
Coseigneur de Blonay, chevalier, served as bailli de Vaud for several annual cycles beginning in 1344, and ending in 1369. Shortly after his death his last report of accounts was submitted by his brother. The RGV genealogy, which is presented as a chart, with very few details, shows no descendants from either marriage. Between some of his tenures as bailli de Vaud, the office was held by Anthoine Cornu (Cornut, Cornuz) alias de Vulliens during 1342-1345. The terms were generally annual appointments beginning in June, but sometimes with delays in appointments and successions.
It has been difficult to work out exactly how these people are related. A document of 02 dec 1352 shows that the wife of Anthoine de Vulliens (=Cornu), chevalier, was Bonarem, widow of the late Richard de Prez (Annales fribourgeoises 51:28-61 (1971-1972).
Later genealogies, such as the scheme used by the ACV, call him Jean IV (PP 637 V/9/1). V/9/1/003 is the testament of Jean de Blonay co-seigneur de Blonay chevalier en faveur de son fr�re Nicolas, 25 sep 1369. 013, mandat � Anthoine Cornut de Vuillens chatelain de Rue pour le paiement de 100 livres par ann�e � Jean de Blonay bailli de Vaud pendant son exercice, 02 may and 10 dec 1355. 040, donation par Jean de Blonay seigneur de Blonay chevalier � Jean de Blonay donzel son neveu filz de Nicolas de Blonay chevalier, et � sa femme Catherine fille d'Am�d�e de Vuillens donzel, de ses possessions dans la seigneurie de Blonay, 06 sep 1369.
