J. W. WISWELL

    John W. Wiswell, retired farmer and former custom thresher of Pataskala, a patient in the Arlington Nursing Home two months, died there at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Had he lived until July 24, he would have observed his 94th birthday anniversary.

    He was the son of James and Charlene (Litzsinger) Wiswell, born July 24, 1863, in Somerset, and is the last of his generation.

    His wife, the former Matilda Albert, died in 1939, and he leaves four sons: Wilbur, Lloyd, and Murrel of Pataskala and Herschel Wiswell of Newark; also six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Pataskala.

    Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Vinton D. Morrow Funeral Home in Pataskala with the Rev. John Sloat conducting the service. Burial will be made in Pataskala Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday.
